
In class we did a vignette. It is basically a picture faded inside an oval. It is very simple to use. The first thing to do is open Photoshop and than open an image. It can’t be too small or the effects won’t show. Than using the ellipse Marquee tool, select a portion of the picture. The selected part of it will be the only part that shows. Than go to Select and choose feather. Choose any number between 8-14. Than go to Select again and choose inverse. This will give you the final outcome of the vignette. You can than color the background to any color with the pain bucket tool; add shapes and pictures to make it look better. Text can be added too. I added a lot of stars to create a border around the vignette. I also added a few pictures that were taken from the internet to fill in all the empty spaces. Sylwia
